LIFE with MSLATIA is a weekly, web series talk show that focuses on Personal Growth, Relationships, Entrepreneurship, and Money staring the fierce, funny, factual & full of FAITH LaTia McNeely-Sandiford, MSW, better known as The Adversity Expert, Founder of Lions Vision Productions & the Worthy Women's UPward Institute.
LaTia is the Sister-Friend every woman needs in their life. She's is eagerly energetic, unapologetically honest, deeply passionate and dangerously determined to give women REAL LOVE, REAL REALITY and REAL ADVICE, on various issues.
LaTia's unique perspective stemming from her traditional education, success as an entrepreneur and street knowledge, positions her to offer life strategies on a wide range of topics. She was raised in urban Jersey City, NJ, amidst the perils of addiction and poverty. As an only child, she lost her mom at 9 (heroin addiction), became a teenage parent (13), and suffered relationships where she was battered abused and broken -- YET, she refused to give up on herself, in fact, she thrived!
As a single teenage parent, LaTia was the first in her family to graduate college. She earned her Associates Degree from Hudson County Community College, Bachelors Degree from Jersey City State College and her Master's Degree in Social Work from Rutger's University. LaTia spent 20+ years as an executive in leading New Jersey non-profit organizations before starting her own business in 2010, Lions Vision Productions.
In 2004, LaTia met and married her Leo soul mate, Roger. Today they share five beautiful grandchildren to whom she's affectionately known as "Nynee".
Today, LaTia is a successful Entrepreneur, published Author, (Burdens in My Backpack), Inspirational/Motivational Speaker, Success Coach, Seminar Leader and Philanthropist. Yet -- no matter what she's accomplished, she has remained grounded, true to who she is and has never changed. She's still "Tee-Tee" from Jersey City, to those who know her best.
She continues to thrive, always looks forward and continues to empowers others along the way.

'Super Dads' is a show that focuses on the plight of men taking care of their children as single fathers. Whether you are a single father who gained custody through the courts, because of an absent mother, a one night stand, military dad, or unsuspecting paternity test, "You Are the Father...", we want to share your story and show your day to day struggle of how you take responsibility for your child(ren).
Maybe you are a single father raising all girls, in a same sex union, are a widow, raising a special needs child, raising bi-racial children, or raising children who aren't biologically yours, we want to hear from you. Every entrepreneur has a story, but for some their road to success has been so overwhelming and riddled with obstacles that failure seemed more likely. For many, where they are today, could never have been imagined from what they had to overcome. Homelessness, addiction and abusive relationships were just some of the challenges. 'Before I Became a Boss' tells the stories of entrepreneurs from the darkest points in their lives, but demonstrates how resilience, persistence and determination can propel you to your highest heights.
We are specifically interested in entrepreneurs, in business more than five years, whose darkest days could have counted them out. A good candidate is one who has overcome debilitating adversity, (that may have otherwise stagnated the average person), but instead, they pressed forward, started a business and now gives back to the community.
