LVP Production Schedule

Lions Vision Productions goal is to bring awareness to disadvantaged populations through our media.   We believe that the art of movie production rests in the ability to create an emotional response from the audience.  Our projects are based on real people, real issues and real life.  We strive to create open the lines of cultural communication by sharing experiences and perspectives that rarely is seen or produced by mainstream media.

Burdens in My Backpack - Inside the lions den is a full feature movie based on the Founder of Lions Vision Productions (LaTia McNeely-Sandiford) best selling book, Burdens in My Backpack. 

Inside the Lions' Den -  is set in Jersey City, New Jersey, and chronicles young LaTia's life, as she attempts to navigate through the perils of her parents heroin addiction.   This movie provides an in-depth look at addiction through the experience of a child.  While the challenges of poverty are apparent, the LaTia's determination and resilience is absolutely inspiring.  However, that process that is hard fought against the life she knows and the one she wants.  The scars of her upbringing are apparent, the sacrifices extraordinary, her determination unwavering, but she believes that she can do what has never been done in her family.
