This urban dramatic trilogy shows how addiction changes the trajectory of one's life --- in one night, with one bad decision.   In this trilogy, we explore the challenges of a single mother who must parent two sons who've chosen different paths.  The adversities faced by urban youth, when they desire success, proves harder to navigate when the forces of detriment are within their own family structure.

Part I - CONFLICTED 

Marcus, the main character, is on the verge of reaching his dreams.  After recently signing a record deal with Rap Nation and graduating college (the first in his family), his wayward brother Kevin pressures him to accompany him to a basement party that changes his life.

part II - ADDICTED

Marcus goes from college graduate to pill addict.  In this installment, he hits rock bottom.  ADDICTED goes through the year that Marcus was in active addiction.  This time in Marcus' life shows how Marcus loses himself, loses his dreams, loses his friends and ultimately his freedom.  This year in Marcus' life proves to be life changing in more than one way.

part iii - convicted

Marcus enters rehab.  During this time of recovery, he is faced with the consequences of his year long addiction.  During his time in rehab,  he must decide what he wants out of life, but first, he must brace himself for this life altering revelation with will come his way.  When he finds out his mothers secret how will he handle the REAL truth?
